SARASOTA — Doctors Hospital of Sarasota named Wyatt Chocklett chief operating officer.

In the role, Chocklett will oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital. According to a press release, he was previously chief operating officer at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tenn., a 157-bed regional medical center.

At TriStar Horizon Medical Center, he oversaw the renovation of the emergency room, led the certificate of need approval process for the area's first level two neonatal intensive care unit and helped secure funding for a new satellite emergency room.

“Wyatt's enthusiasm and experience will be great assets for Doctors Hospital and our community,” says Doctors Hospital CEO Robert Meade in a statement. “He will be an important part of our team as we prepare for new projects as well as bring new and innovative ideas.”
