A series of Fort Myers-based companies formed in February have acquired five office and retail properties there for a combined $17.5 million, according to records.

Johan Santana, who leads the companies, acquired the Parker Plaza; the One Parker Center; and the Parker Commons 2 and 10 offices, as well as the Parker Promenade community retail center.

One Parker, at 9001 Daniels Parkway, sold for $3.3 million. The Parker Plaza building, at 9400/9420 Gladiolus Drive, traded at $5.6 million, and the Parker Promenade center, at 14680 S. Tamiami trail, was purchased for $5.35 million, according to Lee County property records. The balance was spent on the pair of Parker Commons buildings.

Combined, the five properties contain 126,000 square feet of space.

The oldest of the properties was constructed in 1996 by the Jack Parker Corp., property records show, while the newest — the three-story One Parker Center — was delivered in 2003.

Lee & Associates' Senior Vice President Rodney Fidler and Principal Richard Clarke brokered the transaction involving Santana's newly established companies.

“The buyer plans to continue to maintain the properties with the highest standards,” Fidler says
