ST. PETERSBURG — Independent trust firm Sabal Trust Co. announced the names of individuals who will fill several leadership roles.
Bryant Jones has been named the firm's CEO. He joined the company as president in 2015. Susan Brennan will serve as managing principal of its Tampa office. Greg Newman was named as principal and senior portfolio manager. Scott Pieper, a founder of the firm who was the managing principal in Tampa, is now the firm's chief investment officer. Ward Curtis will continue serving as chairman of the firm.
The firm also announced plans to expand its corporate headquarters and St. Petersburg office. It will move into six units of retail space on the ground floor of the new One St. Petersburg building on Central Avenue when the building is completed in 2018.
“With the talent we have added to the firm and the expansion of our headquarters into the premier new development in downtown St. Petersburg, we have positioned the company to continue to deliver the same high-touch, relationship-focused investment and trust services our clients have come to expect, for many years to come,” says Jones in a press release.
Sabal Trust has offices in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota and The Villages. It has $2 billion in assets under management, according to a statement.
