Real Estate Forum, a commercial real estate trade magazine and an affiliate of online news source GlobeSt.com, has named Gail Bowden to its 2016 list of “Women of Influence” in the industry.

Bowden is one of 51 women — and nine from Florida — recognized this year for a “track record of achievements that have helped shape and influence the traditionally male-dominated
industry.”

The SVN | Commercial Advisory Group senior investment adviser joined the Sarasota-based brokerage in 2009, and has since become one of the company's top producers nationwide.
Earlier this year, Bowden was ranked in the top three agents within SVN, a franchise brokerage that has more than 900 agents nationwide and generates roughly $10 billion in annual sales.

Bowden, who specializes in medical office and health care properties, has career sales of more than $200 million. Last year, she was SVN's top agent in Florida — the first woman to achieve that designation. In 2014, she was named “Advisor of the Year” by the company.

The 23rd annual Real Estate Forum list, culled from more than 300 nominees, is featured in the publication's August issue. Bowden and the other recipients will also be honored during an early October ceremony in New York.
