Ambulance executive to help oversee state association
John Peterson, chief administrative officer of Sunstar Paramedics, has been elected vice president of the Florida Ambulance Association.
Peterson will work with board members and policy makers to monitor state and national legislation and its impact on Florida ambulance service providers, a statement says. The association represents both public and private ambulance service providers. Peterson's term will last two years.
Peterson oversees 615 employees at Largo-based Sunstar Paramedics. He joined the firm in 2004 as a paramedic and has held several leadership roles with the firm.
Law firm adds estate and trust attorneys
The Tampa office of law firm Foley & Lardner hired attorneys Natalie Annis and Jamil Daoud for its estates and trusts practice.
Annis represents professionals, executives, business owners, retired individuals and families in developing and managing estate plans, a statement says. She primarily works with financial advisers, accountants and insurance professionals to help her clients with wealth preservation and succession planning.
Daoud has experience creating asset protection plans for clients, the statement adds. He has designed trust plans and LLC operating agreements, along with corporate buy-sell agreements. He also has past experience negotiating premarital agreements.
Foley & Lardner is a corporate law firm with 900 attorneys and 20 offices. The firm focuses on multiple industries, including technology, health care, sports and manufacturing.

Communications firm brings in two new leaders
Marketing and communications firm C-Suite Communications hired two people to serve in leadership roles.
Juliette Reynolds joined the Sarasota-based agency as a vice president and director of integrated marketing, a statement says. Reynolds has held senior positions with multiples marketing agencies, including Miles Media, MMGY Global and Pace Communications. She most recently led digital strategy and content marketing for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Kaylin Dalton joined the agency as a digital account manager. Dalton has eight years' experience in communications, previously working in positions with Walt Disney World and with Hilton Worldwide. Dalton also has experience with email marketing campaigns and social media content strategy in the fashion industry.
Window firm names sales official
Venice-based window and door manufacturer PGT Inc. has named Brent Boydston vice president of sales.
Boydston will lead day-to-day sales operations and multi-brand sales strategies, reporting directly to PGT President and COO Jeff Jackson, a statement says. Boydston has more than
25 years' sales experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales for Liberty Hardware.
“PGTI has assembled the nation's best brands of impact-resistant products and the growth opportunities in the marketplace are exciting,” Boydston says.
PGT Inc. is the nation's leading manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors. PGT has been bolstering its sales staff in 2016. In August, the company named a new director of southeast Florida and international sales.

Global auto parts firm expands to Fort Myers
Liftmatic, a global automotive, aviation and industrial parts distributor, plans to open its first U.S. distribution center in Fort Myers.
The company recently signed a lease for an 8,000-square-foot space in the Daniels Road Showroom Warehouse, just south of Daniels Parkway at 13361 Saddle Road, a statement says.
Adam Palmer and Artem Nashman of LandQwest Commercial in Fort Myers represented the tenant. Liz Herman, also with LandQwest Commercial, represented the landlord, Daniels Road Showroom Warehouses LLC.
“This location was diligently selected as a case study for this international group, which speaks volumes about new business opportunities for Southwest Florida,” says Palmer, principal and managing director for the LandQwest Fort Myers office. “The tenant's primary concern is convenient distribution across the East Coast and the Midwest, while establishing a relationship across Florida's major metros.”
