Developer, with $2.7M purchase, plans apartments

A Tampa development group purchased 38.5 acres in Bradenton for $2.7 million, with the intention of a building a 216-unit apartment community on the tract.

Park 30 Partners LLC, based in Tampa, closed on the deal Wednesday, according to a statement. The property, near the southeast corner of State Road 70 and U.S. 301 on 33rd Street E., has recently been rezoned to accommodate 216 apartments, the release adds. A Sam's Club and Walmart are among the nearby retail locations.

Dennis Kotaska, Terri Kotaska and Erick Shumway of Re/Max Alliance Group represented the seller, Royal Palm LLC. Alan Forrester of Opportunity Real Estate LLC and Brian McCarthy of Starboard Tack LLC represented Park 30 Partners.
