National financial services company appoints regional exec

Financial services firm Edward Jones named Jennifer Basey regional leader for the Southwest Florida market.

Basey, a certified financial planner , will now be responsible for the firm's regional branch offices, according to a statement. That includes overseeing the acclimation of new financial advisors to Edward Jones and coordinating regional events and meetings. She will also continue to work with clients as a financial advisor, the statement adds.

Basey has been with Edward Jones for more than 12 years. She previously worked for Publix, as a supervisor in the accounts receivable department.
