Manufacturer hires experienced exec as VP

VENICE — Window and door manufacturer PGT Inc. has named Bob Keller the new vice president and general manager of PGT Custom Doors & Windows.

Keller, who has more than 20 years of experience in the building industry, will be in charge of the company's main facility in north Venice, a statement says. He will report directly to Jeff Jackson, the company's president and COO.

Prior to joining PGT, Keller served as vice president of global operations for Moen, the statement says. He has also served as a board member for the Window and Door Manufacturers Association.

PGT Inc. (symbol: PGTI; recent price: $10.28) is the largest window and door manufacturer in the United States. Last month, the company purchased a 2.5-acre-lot in north Venice to build an 8,109-square-foot daycare center.
