Three women execs make top IT industry list

CLEARWATER — Three executives for Clearwater-based Tech Data Corp. have been named to CRN's 2016 Women of the Channel list.

The list from the IT industry news magazine recognizes executives in the IT industry, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations, the statement says. The three Tech Data executives were recognized for their leadership, vision and role in driving channel growth.

These are the three executives from Tech Data Corp.:
• Tammy Gardner, vice president of SAP Development and Operations. Gardner is responsible for development, support, operations and testing teams at Tech Data.
• Tiffany Embry, director of sales. Embry has been in her current position since August of 2013. She was also named to CRN's 2016 Power 100 list, a subset of the Women of the Channel list.
• Kaye McMillan, director of sales planning. McMillan has served in this role since August 2012. She leads Tech Data's customer care organization and its TechSelect community.

Tech Data had $26.4 billion in sales in 2015. It is ranked No. 107 on the Fortune 500 list.
