VENICE — Tervis Tumbler, one of the largest employers and manufacturers in the Sarasota-Venice region, named Rogan Donelly president.

Donelly, 31, has been with drinkware company for seven years, in a variety of departments, according to a statement, and is son of the chairman and the grandson of the company founder. Donelly will assume the president role from Pat Redmond, who will assist with the transition and remain on the company's board of directors, the company says.

“Having Rogan assume the leadership has been in our plans for several years”, says Tervis chairman Norbert Donelly in the release. “This is a well thought out step in the evolution of our family-owned company. We are grateful to Pat Redmond to get us ready for this move.”

Tervis was founded in 1946 and has about 1,000 employees.
