BRADENTON — Discovery Senior Living, one of the fastest-growing senior living companies in the region, opened its newest facility last week.

Discovery Village At Sarasota Bay is at 1414 69th Ave. W. in Bradenton, adjacent to Bowless Creek and Sarasota Bay, according to a statement. There are 126 units in the community, and accommodations include grande suites, and one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. There are three options for senior living: supervised independent living, all-inclusive assisted living and memory care.

Amenities at Discovery Village At Sarasota Bay, the company says, include a state-of-the-art comprehensive wellness center; a Grande Clubhouse with three meals a day and daily tableside service; a bistro and an ice cream parlor; a bar and lounge; an indoor heated wellness pool; a senior-equipped fitness center; an arts and crafts studio; and a media center with cognitive brain fitness.

Bonita Springs-based Discovery Senior Living has a portfolio of more than 6,500 homes for seniors nationwide. The company had $129.5 million in revenues in 2014.
