Restaurateur named chair of social services agency

SARASOTA — The Jewish Family & Children's Service of the Suncoast Inc. named area restaurateur Stephen Seidensticker chair elect for the organization's fiscal year 2016, which starts Oct. 1.

Seidensticker joined the board in 2013 and has 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, a statement says. He is founder and CEO of Tableseide Restaurant Group, which oversees several restaurants, including Libby's Cafe & Bar and Louies Modern. He will replace Joe Mendels as chair.

Jewish Family & Children's Service of the Suncoast Inc. is a community-based social service organization that delivers counseling, prevention, intervention, outreach and education programs. It serves people in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
