University launches entrepreneur workshops

FORT MYERS — Florida Gulf Coast University will offer workshops for entrepreneurs of small- and medium-sized business to help them with sales and marketing.

FGCU's Office of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs will hold the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Series from April through September from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at various locations in Fort Myers, Naples and Punta Gorda. Most workshops cost $59.

Bryan Durkin, principal with NewLine 360, a sales and marketing firm, will coordinate The Entrepreneurial Accelerator Series. Entrepreneurs may attend as few or as many workshops as they want.

In addition, there will be two optional full-day workshops with in-depth discussion on the practical application of the techniques covered in previous workshops. The full-day workshops cost $299.

There will be information sessions this week and next to find out about the program before registering. The sessions will be held Tuesday at the FGCU Naples Center, 1010 5th Ave. S., Naples; Wednesday at The Atrium, 8695 College Parkway, Suite 1181, Fort Myers; and March 22 at Herald Court Center, Punta Gorda.
