BRADENTON — Insurance firm SUNZ Holdings LLC announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to downtown Bradenton, according to a statement.

The move, from its former office in Sarasota County, east of Interstate 75, will help the firm accommodate its growth and future expansion plans, the statement says. It will have more than 50 employees working in its new headquarters, located at 1301 6th Ave. W.

Sunz writes and offers a range of workers' compensation insurance products, including claims and case management. Clients are mostly PEOs and mid-size and larger staffing firms, usually with at least $500,000 in annual sales. The new headquarters is part of a 60,000-square-foot office facility, the statement says. SUNZ will occupy 30,000 square feet.

“SUNZ's new office space is critical for us to increase our capabilities in key areas that align with our current and future growth goals,” Steve Herrig, CEO of SUNZ, says in the statement. “The new location allows us to continue to support the personnel growth we are experiencing while giving us dedicated facilities to host customer meetings.”

SUNZ experienced a 200% increase in staff during 2015, the statement says, and it plans to continue at that growth rate through 2016. Premiums are up 62.9% since 2012, from $38.6 million to $62.9 million.

SUNZ Holdings LLC is the parent company of SUNZ Insurance Company, Next Level Administrators, PEO Partners Plus and Insurance Partners Plus.
