Chief medical officer recognized in top 100 list

SARASOTA — Dr. Thomas Trinchetto, chief medical officer for Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, has been recognized as one of 100 Hospital and Health System CMOs to Know by Becker's Hospital Review.

The list features clinical leaders from health care organizations nationwide, according to a statement. The leaders recognized “have exhibited dedication to clinical leadership and have contributed to establishing standards of excellence at each of their respective organizations," the statement says.

Becker's Hospital Review, a monthly publication, previously published the list in 2013 and 2014, the statement says.

Trinchetto was appointed CMO of Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, a 155-bed care facility, in 2014. The hospital has been named to Modern Healthcare's Top 100 Best Places to Work list for each of the past seven years.
