Nationally recognized builder reports strong sales

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Neal Communities, the 45th ranked homebuilder on Builder Magazine's list of the top 100 homebuilders nationwide, reported a strong sales pace in May.

The Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder had 89 new home sales from Hillsborough to Collier County in the month, according to a statement.

Three communities in particular displayed high sales, the statement says. The Boca Royale Golf and Country Club had eight sales, Waterset had six and The Ridge at Crossing Creek had six. Homes in those communities start at $215,990, $201,990 and $256,990, respectively.

Following a strong couple of months, Neal Communities has sold more than 400 homes so far in 2016. It closed 989 home sales last year.
