BRADENTON — MTech MDM, a mobile technology company, is relocating its headquarters in south Manatee County.

The firm, currently based in San Marco Plaza in Lakewood Ranch, will move into a new facility in SRQ Commerce Park later this year, a statement says. The 18-employee company also has a repair center in Jupiter.

Along with its headquarters expansion, MTech MDM plans to add 46 jobs over the next five years, the statement says. The company qualified for a Manatee County economic development incentive grant of $46,000, depending on job creation.

“We have established great relationships with schools, businesses, network organizations, community and government agencies that have been extremely supportive in helping our company get established,” MTech MDM President and CEO Tony Fernandez says in the statement. “The technical schools have helped us develop a stream of qualified students to support our growth.”

MTech was founded in 2012 as an on-the-spot mobile device repair company for consumers. It expanded its concept in 2015 with the introduction of MDM, a mobile device management service for business.
