Health firm makes fourth acquisition in eight months

TAMPA — Health IT and management firm DAS Health, based in Tampa, announced its fourth acquisition in eight months.

DAS, also a reseller of Aprima Medical Software, acquired Las Vegas-based Falcon Healthcare Systems, a management, IT services and electronic health records firm, a statement says. The purchase will give DAS a regional office in Las Vegas. Aside from its headquarters in Tampa, DAS also has regional operations in Charlotte and Phoenix.

Along with bolstering its geographical presence, the addition of Falcon Healthcare to DAS's portfolio brings in an experienced technology and managed services team, the statement says. “As the health care industry continues to rapidly change, it is our goal to help clinicians focus on what matters most: their patients,” says David Schlaifer, president and CEO of DAS Health, in the statement.
