TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers spent big this offseason, launching a $100 million renovation project to Raymond James Stadium.
The project is highlighted by renovations to the video displays and sound system, luxury systems, club lounges, team store and the main concourse. The general goal is improving fan experience and competing for large-scale events, like the 2017 College Football National Championship.
Now the team is looking to further improve the fan experience through a new partnership with 15 Seconds of Fame, a technology and social media app, a statement says. The app allows fans that appear on the stadium's video boards to receive the clips on their phones and share them on social media.
The partnership between the Bucs and 15 Seconds of Fame is a multi-year deal, the statement says. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
