The Florida Supreme Court disciplined 16 attorneys in recent court orders, disbarring five, revoking the licenses of two, suspending eight and publicly reprimanding one.

Of the 16 attorneys, seven are based on the Gulf Coast, a statement from The Florida Bar says. These are those seven attorneys and their punishments, according to the statement:
• Angela Morton Armstrong, of Palm Harbor, disbarred following an April 21 court order. Armstrong accepted fees and failed to keep clients reasonably informed of their case status.
• Sara E. Cox, of Fort Myers, to be publicly reprimanded following a May 19 court order. Cox received a total of $90,000 for representing a client, and the client claims the fees are excessive. The two are in civil litigation.
• Michelle Dawn Lambo, of Tampa, suspended for 60 days following a May 19 court order. Lambo was in a car accident and left the scene. She is also on probation for three years.
• Eric Andrew Mader, of Tampa, suspended for three years following a May 19 court order. Mader improperly handled a commercial debt case and represented clients in Missouri, where he is not licensed.
• Cheria A. Parker, of Largo, suspended for one year following a May 12 court order. Parker failed to comply with the terms of a 2015 suspension.
• Gary Lee Potts, of Clearwater, suspended for one year following a May 12 court order. Potts failed to comply with the terms of a 2015 suspension.
• David Land Whigham, of Tampa, requested and received permanent disciplinary revocation following a May 19 court order. Whigham was under emergency suspension for misappropriating more than $899,000.
