Homebuilder notches record-setting year

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Homebuilder Neal Communities sold 1,107 homes in 2015, setting an annual record for the company. The sales spanned from Hillsborough County to Collier County, according to a statement.

“With over 200 employees, we have the most experienced and engaged team at Neal Communities that we've had in 45 years,” says Pat Neal, the company's founder and CEO, in the statement.

Neal Communities opened 13 new communities in 2015. Its expansion plan will continue in 2016, when it expects to open an additional eight communities.

Founded in 1974, Neal Communities has built more than 10,000 homes.
