Senior living firm promotes executive

TAMPA — Validus Senior Living appointed Rebecca Lingold Townsend to chief operating officer, according to a release.

Lingold Townsend joined the Tampa-based organization in early 2015. Since then she's directed some key initiatives, including the company's partnership with the NFL Alumni Association and development plans for the 33 new communities Validus is adding in the next five years, the company says.

Lingold Townsend will lead operations in the individual senior living and memory care communities in her new role. She will also oversee operations in sales, marketing, dining services, construction, compliance and resident programming, the statement adds.

Prior to joining Validus, Lingold Townsend held leadership positions with IntegraCare Corp., Bell Senior Living, HHHunt and Horizon Bay Retirement Living.
