Software firm plans $1M project, 45 jobs

TAMPA — SunView Software Inc., an IT management software firm, plans to invest more than $1 million to expand its Hillsborough County-based headquarters.

The 6,000-square-foot expansion will also bring up to 45 new jobs to the firm, according to a release. Positions will be in software development, services, support, marketing and sales.

The move comes during a rapid expansion period in the region for IT and software firms. Accusoft, BlueGrace Logistics and Hivelocity are among others firms expanding in Hillsborough County, in addition to SunView. And more than 20% of Florida's IT positions are in Tampa and Hillsborough County, according to the statement.

Founded in 2003, SunView Software serves clients in the healthcare, government, energy, finance and education industries.
