Law firm names managing partner

TAMPA — Dennis McClelland has been named managing partner of the Phelps Dunbar Tampa law office, according to a statement.

McClelland, who joined Phelps Dunbar in 2005, is a board certified labor and employment lawyer with 19 years experience, the statement says. He graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1996 and received his bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1993.

Phelps Dunbar has more than 260 attorneys in 11 locations. The law firm's Tampa office has 46 attorneys who specialize in corporate, real estate, commercial litigation, insurance and reinsurance, and labor and employment law.
