Law firm brings on executive

CLEARWATER — Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns LLP, a law firm with offices in Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa, named Evelyn Delgado chief operating officer, according to a statement.

Delgado will oversee all business and financial operations, implement operational initiatives and supervise all nonlawyer personnel at the firm, the statement says.

A graduate of the University of South Florida's College of Business, Delgado has a background in business and operations management with law firms, accounting firms and advisory firms, the statement adds. She is also involved in Vistage Key Executive Program, Financial Executives International and the Association of Women Accountants.
