Attorney goes solo, targets entrepreneurs

Local business attorney Kalpesh Patel opened a new law firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, small businesses and startups.

The firm, FL Patel Law PLLC, will focus on personalized counseling with fair and transparent pricing, a statement says. Patel's goal is to fill “the gap between expensive legal services and non-legal online services,” according to the statement.

“With traditional law firms, startup legal costs can be thousands of dollars,” Patel says. “For this reason, most entrepreneurs are resorting to non-legal services to start and grow their companies. This leaves them with expensive legal headaches down the road.”

FL Patel Law's business services include incorporation, contracts, compliance, intellectual property and human resources, the statement says. He also offers a startup kit for new businesses and in-house legal counsel services.

The law firm's office is located in First Central Tower at 360 Central Ave., Suite 800, in downtown St. Petersburg.
