Lawyer named elite for ninth straight year

SARASOTA — Richard Gans, a shareholder with Fergeson, Skipper, Shaw, Keyser, Baron & Tirabassi P.A., has been named a 2016 Florida Legal Elite for the ninth consecutive year.

The attorneys chosen represent less than 2% of active Florida Bar members, a statement says. Florida Legal Elite members are selected by fellow attorneys.

Gans is certified with the Florida bar as a specialist in wills, trusts and estates, the statement says. Also in 2016, he was named to the Super Lawyers 2016 Florida top 100 list and has been recognized as a five star wealth manager, the statement says.
