TAMPA — Health care information technology firm Ability Network is adding 75 jobs by the end of 2017.

To make room for its growing team, Ability has added space to its Tampa office, at 4010 W. Boy Scout Blvd., a statement says. The new jobs will be in sales, IT and administrative roles.

Ability's expansion in Tampa is consistent with the region's growing presence in IT. Other tech firms like ReliaQuest and Tribridge have recently grown operations in Tampa. “It's an ideal environment for high-tech, high-growth companies like ours,” says Mark A. Pulido, chairman and CEO of Ability, in the statement.

Ability worked with Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. in the expansion, the statement says.

Founded in 2000, Minneapolis-based Ability Network helps health care providers simplify their administrative and clinical operations. The firm employs 100 people in Florida.
