SARASOTA — After adding 125 hospitals to its customer base, an 83% increase in fiscal year 2016, health communications firm Voalte has appointed Adam McMullin to chairman and CEO to help maintain the company's growth.
McMullin will work closely with Voalte founder Trey Lauderdale, who will serve as president, a statement says. “He and I are aligned in our vision for the future and share a deep passion for the health care field that will propel the company as we continue to create life-changing health care communication tools,” Lauderdale says in the statement.
McMullin previously led the clinical workflow solutions business at medical technologies firm Hill-Rom, where he built a new leadership team, acquired a business and increased revenue, the statement says. He also held various vice president positions for the firm.
Founded in 2008, Voalte develops smartphone solutions that improve caregiver communication. Its solutions are available to more than 132,000 caregivers in the United States.
