Uber of massages rubs into Tampa

TAMPA — Zeel, a company of massage therapists who travel to homes, hotels, workplaces and other places to give massages, has expanded its services to the Tampa area.

“The Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater region is one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States, both in terms of population and job growth,” says Zeel founder and CEO Samer Hamadeh in a statement.

Customers can schedule a variety of massages, like deep tissue, Swedish or couples massages, which range from 60 to 90 minutes, and a Zeel therapist will show up in as little as one hour, according to the release.

With the expansion into Tampa, Zeel's traveling massage services are available in 10 metro areas, including New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The company was founded in 2010 and has more than 4,500 massage therapists nationwide.
