Firm names new sales leader

SARASOTA — Progressive Employer Management Co. named Scott Gordon senior vice president of sales for the company, one of the largest employee leasing firms in the region.

Gordon has 23 years experience in sales for small and mid-sized businesses. In the past, he has assisted clients with succession planning and finding executives, and he plans to bring that same approach to Progressive Employer Management, according to a statement.

“Employees are an investment,” Gordon says in a statement. “And most organizations don't do a good job at developing their people. It's been my goal to assist companies with growing their business and sales teams.”

Founded in 1999, Sarasota-based PEMCO provides payroll administration, workers' compensation services, employee benefits and human resource management for small and mid-sized companies.
