SARASOTA — Holly Lipps has been named executive director of the Sarasota County Bar Association, a professional organization with 950 lawyer-members.

Lipps, currently the association's executive assistant, will replace longtime executive director Jan Jung, who is retiring after more than 25 years in the post, according to a statement. Lipps will assume her new role Jan. 1.

“The SCBA will be in great hands after Jung's departure,” says association President Hunter Carroll, a partner with Matthews Eastmoore, in the release. “Lipps, who has worked for the SCBA since 2011, brings numerous talents to her new position as well as institutional knowledge.”
