SARASOTA — Healthy Earth Inc., which seeks to develop sustainable and economically viable sources of seafood, has named industry executives Jeff Sedacca and Paul Brooke partners in the firm.

The additions bring the Sarasota-based firm's executive committee to five members, according to a statement. Sedacca will lead the operating companies and Brooke will lead investor relations and development activities, the statement adds.

The three other members of the committee are:
• Russell Vernon, chairman of the board for Southeast Venture Holdings Inc., Healthy Earth's parent company. Vernon overlooks the management committee;
• Christopher Cogan, general partner of Southeast Venture Holdings. Cogan focuses on corporate development and oversees mergers and acquisitions;
• Robert Bartner, a Sarasota-based investor. Bartner leads Healthy Earth marketing and branding efforts.

The changes to the structure of the committee were necessary to keep up with the company's growth, Vernon says in the statement.
