Health care giant preps for hiring binge

OLDSMAR — Health insurance company UnitedHealth Group plans to hire at least 120 people by the end of the year for its Pinellas County call center.

The positions are for customer service and claims representatives, according to a release, and will be in the company's facility in Oldsmar, in the Brooker Creek Corporate Center. While the positions are open to anyone, the firm is part of a public-private partnership, 100,000 Jobs Mission, that aims to hire military veterans, the release adds.
