TAMPA — Allegiant has announced the addition of two nonstop flights from Flint, Mich. and Dayton, Ohio to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.

The flights will operate twice weekly and feature fares as low as $45, according to a statement. The new flights, beginning mid-April, 2016, will increase St. Pete-Clearwater airport's total to 49 nonstop destinations, the statement adds.

“With new service comes even more visitors and economic growth to the area, and we look forward to giving these two communities an affordable and convenient way to travel to the white sand beaches of St. Pete and Clearwater,” says Allegiant senior vice president Jude Bricker in a statement.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is one of the fastest-growing airports in the region.
