SARASOTA — Nick Figlow, a high-ranking Sarasota Association of Realtors official during the early 2000s boom, has been named general manager of one of the largest residential Re/Max brokerages in the Sarasota-Manatee region.

Figlow will oversee all the Re/Max Platinum Realty offices in Sarasota and Manatee counties, according to a release. Figlow has been in real estate for nearly 40 years. He ran his own brokerages in the 1980s and 1990s, and he had his own title company. He's also held executive sales positions for some notable area developments, including The Meadows and Bent Tree, the release adds. He was the president of the Sarasota Association of Realtors in 2004 and he was general manager for Re/Max Gulfstream offices in Sarasota and Manatee counties from 1999 to 2007.

“Nick brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to our growing company,” Re/Max Platinum Realty owner and broker of record Bryan Guentner says in the release. “He will be helping our agents succeed on a day-to-day basis by mentoring, training and coaching.”
