California real estate firm acquires local offices

TAMPA — Carrington Real Estate Services has acquired two real estate brokerages in Tampa and Naples, expanding the Santa Ana, Calif.-based company's presence in the Tampa Bay region.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Realty Direct Tampa and Realty Direct Naples will become Carrington offices, offering services to homebuyers at various stages of the purchasing process.

The offices are located in Tampa, Lutz, Oldsmar and Naples. Russ Laggan, Adrian Petrila and Dan Depies will run those offices.

Carrington is one of 16 companies operating under Carrington Holding Co., with 41 corporately owned sales offices and a staff of 2,200. It was founded in 2008, providing institutional real estate services, including residential real estate development, management, brokerage, settlement and field services to a wide range of government and large corporate institutions.
