CLEARWATER — Alan Bomstein has moved his son into a prime spot in the line of succession, naming him president of Creative Contractors Inc.

Joshua Bomstein took over the position March 1 after a decade with the company. He most recently led business development efforts for Creative, according to a release.

The elder Bomstein, who founded the Clearwater-based construction firm 40 years ago, had been the company's president. He will continue as CEO.

Also getting a promotion is Alan Holderith, moving from senior vice president to COO. Holderith, a 26-year construction veteran, will be responsible for all administrative, financial and legal functions at Creative, continuing a role he's already held at a much more senior level.

Jerry Siminski also becomes a chief, earning a boost from senior vice president to chief construction officer. Siminski, a 22-year veteran, will oversee all construction and estimating activities.

Completing a series of promotions, Brett Johnston becomes Creative's new vice president of health care, while Joe Primiana will take on the role of vice president of education.

Creative Contractors builds throughout west and central Florida, and clients include Saint Leo University, Lakeland Regional Medical Center and public agencies in Pinellas, Pasco and Manatee counties, as well as Largo.
