OLDSMAR -- Chris Hourigan is the new chief financial officer for IT firm Global Convergence Inc., leading what the Oldsmar company says will be a “rapid” international expansion.

Hourigan previously ran Accurity Business Solutions, an accounting consulting practice he launched in 2007. He also spent time with funeral service provider Keystone North America, which was acquired by Service Corporation International in 2010. He also worked in the Tampa audit practice of Ernst & Young.

Global Convergence was founded in 1990 as Interlink Communication Systems, according to its website. It currently provides IT distribution and services.

The company is currently led by Jim Bradshaw, who founded Network Dynamics in 1994, now a division of Global Convergence.

The company had revenues of more than $135 million in 2013 — a growth of 173%, and was enough to earn it a spot on the Inc. 5000 list last year.
