TAMPA -- Advanzeon Solutions Inc., a behavioral health and pharmacy management company based in Tampa, says it's expanding its national reach by providing autism and behavioral services to Nevada.

The company, which trades over-the-counter at CHCR, signed an agreement with Southwest Autism & Behavioral Solutions, according to a release. Advanzeon will provide services through the agreement to patients diagnosed with autism and autism spectrum disorders. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Autism disorder has now reached epidemic proportions, not only in Nevada, but nationally,” says Jerry Smith, Advanzeon's COO, in a release. Smith adds that 3.5 million Americans live with the disorder, and one out of every 58 births is autism-suspected.

Advanzeon will work with Southwest Autism to provide school consultation, community instruction, early intervention, home programming, parent training, behavior assessment and consultation and telemedicine.

Advanzeon was founded in 1969, and provides various health services to employers, government health and welfare funds, and managed care companies.

Advanzeon hasn't filed a financial report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since August 2013, when it claimed a loss of $1.6 million, or 3 cents per share, on revenues of $1.1 million, for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. That compared to a profit of $1.6 million, or 3 cents per share, on revenues of $18.1 million the year before.

Shares for Advanzeon closed yesterday at 10 cents, but have climbed as high as 12 cents in the past year.
