Taylor Morrison buys home lots in Oyster Harbor for $10 million

PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Taylor Morrison purchased 100 home lots in the planned 1,000-home community of Oyster Harbor for $10.74 million.

The price equated to $107,400 per acre.

The homebuilder announced a joint venture agreement with Fiddler's Creek in Naples in mid-2014 to create the Oyster Harbor section of the master-planned development. Taylor Morrison will be the sole homebuilder in the community.

Cammie Longenecker, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison West Florida, said in a statement sent to the Business Observer that Taylor Morrison chose the community largely because of the amenities, architectural standards, marketing plans and infrastructure in place in Fiddler's Creek and its attractive location in the Naples market.
