Chargebacks911 eyeing Europe, adds Arizona sales group
Clearwater-based risk mitigation company Chargebacks911 is creating a new west coast sales office as part of its strategic expansion plan to grow its European presence.
The company hired Bryan Derbyshire as chief sales officer to open an office in Scottsdale, Ariz., with the goal of increasing domestic sales. Derbyshire was most recently director of national sales at WorldPay, where he is credited with achieving more than 330% of his annual sales goal. He also previously worked for PaySimple, where he grew sales by 550%.
When the new sales team is in place, Chargebacks911's management team says it will be able to focus on the company's European expansion through the Dublin-based subsidiary Global Risk Technologies.
Clearwater agency sells to Virginia firm
The Hilb Group LLC of Richmond, Va., has acquired All Lines Insurance Group of Clearwater. All Lines is a full-service insurance brokerage that specializes in property and casualty insurance for condominium associations in Florida.
The Hilb Group is a middle-market insurance agency with 23 offices in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
All Lines is The Hilb Group's third acquisition in 2015.
ACI Worldwide handling payments for Missouri bank
North American Savings Bank of Grandview, Mo., has hired Naples-based ACI Worldwide Inc. (symbol: ACIW; recent price: $24.18) to handle its online and mobile banking and bill pay services. The bank has nine full-service branches and additional residential and construction loan offices and more than $1 billion in assets.
ACI Worldwide software processes $13 trillion in payments and securities transactions each day.
Premier Eye Care moving operations center
Tampa-based Premier Eye Care is relocating its operations center from Delray Beach to Boca Raton. The company leased a 20,000-square-foot office space in the Arvida Park of Commerce's Meridian Center. The new office, which is being renovated, is more than double the size of Premier Eye Care's current 8,000-square-foot location in Delray Beach.
The Tampa firm expects to move more than 100 people to the Boca Raton location in September.
Founded in 1994, Premier Eye Care manages eye care for health insurance companies and their members through a network of providers, specialists and facilities.
ArtisTree makes list of top 100 landscapers
ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance & Design has been named one of the largest landscape companies in North America by industry publication Lawn & Landscape magazine.
ArtisTree ranked No. 90 with 2014 revenues of $17 million up from $15.57 million in 2013. The 25-year-old company serves Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. ArtisTree has made the ranking for six straight years.
Founded in 1990, ArtisTree specializes in planned community and commercial maintenance and landscape design and installation.
Jabil growing business with Penang, Malaysia plant
St. Petersburg-based Jabil Circuit Inc. (symbol: JBL; recent price: $24.53) has secured approval from the Penang state government to purchase 20 acres of land in the Batu Kawan Industrial Park in Penang, Malaysia. The company plans develop a new facility on the site to manufacture products for the enterprise, industrial, medical and aerospace sectors and to support its growth strategy in the region.
“We expect to see incremental revenue growth in the state of Penang within the next five years, creating 2,500 skilled jobs locally,” Ong Kay Chong, senior vice president of operations and electronic manufacturing services for Jabil Circuit, says in a press release. “This will be a major boost to Penang's supply chain and skills development efforts.”
Jabil says it selected Penang to expand its Malaysia operations because of the region's excellent utility services, highly skilled workforce and mature local supply chain, which includes about 3,000 suppliers.
Construction on the new location is expected to start in the second half of 2016. As part of the agreement, Jabil can purchase another 20 acres of land in the future.
Jabil has 90 facilities in 24 countries and 180,000 employees worldwide.
Sports Franchise adds locations in Florida, California, Texas
Tampa-based youth sports league franchise i9 Sports signed four new franchise agreements so far in the second quarter of the year.
Frank Rittersdorf purchased an existing franchise and is now operating programs in Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills, Calif.
Kaseem Jones acquired the i9 Sports territory in Murrieta, Calif. and Charles Perez will be launching his first i9 Sports program in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Sidney and Monique Johns also agreed to bring i9 Sports to Winter Garden.
