Wanted: Best of the best

The Business Observer is scouting for bright, young business leaders for the 16th year of the popular “40 under 40” issue. It's open to entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in any field or industry from the Greater Tampa area through Naples.

The deadline for nominations is Aug. 14.

And of course, the winners must be under age 40 by the time the issue publishes Oct. 16.

The rules are simple. Please email the name, age, city of residence and short biography or resume of the person you are nominating to [email protected]. In the subject line, type the name of the person you nominated and his or her city of residence.

You may nominate yourself, too. The nominee must live and work in the Business Observer's coverage area, which includes Charlotte, Collier, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota counties.

Include a telephone number and an email address for the nominee, as well as contact information for the nominator.

We will alert the finalists by early September.
