The fast rise in sales and holdings at Gulf Coast Property Management continues to impress the firm's founder and CEO, Andy Moore.

The latest accomplishment: The Lakewood Ranch-based company recently surpassed 300 housing units under annual management, in addition to more than 100 vacation and absentee-owner rentals. The firm, according to a statement, grew revenues 40% in 2014 and expects another 40% growth year in 2015. That would put the company at about $7 million in annual revenues.

“It is a testament to everyone's hard work that we have achieved this goal while dealing with the financial crisis that blighted the industry from 2008 through to 2012,” Moore says in the statement.

A former police officer and detective in his native England, Moore founded the company in the early 2000s after he says he couldn't find a good property management firm in Manatee County. The company now oversees three kinds of properties: homes with owners up north or away for a season or period of time, vacation rentals and annual rentals. It has 19 employees, including three hired this year.

Employees celebrated the company's recent accomplishments with a staff and family day at McKechnie Field in Bradenton June 28, where they all wore “Rise to 300” Gulf Coast shirts.
