SARASOTA — Roger Piro, the 2013 president of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and a current National Association of Realtors board member, has been named managing broker of the Re/Max Alliance Group of Sarasota.

Piro, according to a release, was most recently the broker/owner of Town and Country Real Estate. He ran that firm for eight years.

“We are excited to have such a professional and enthusiastic addition to our management team,” says Re/Max Alliance Group executive Peter Crowley in a release. “I am confident Roger will be a perfect fit within our Re/Max Alliance Group family and a great asset to our company.”

A Cleveland native, Piro was an executive with Century 21 Advantage in Sarasota for 12 years before he launched Town and Country Real Estate. He managed an office of more than 65 agents at Century 21. Piro became a Realtor in 1994.

Re/Max Alliance Group, with more than 300 agents and staff, has offices Sarasota, Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, University Park, Venice, Siesta Key and Englewood. It's one of largest brokerages in the Re/Max chain in Florida and nationwide based on transactions and volume.
