SARASOTA-BRADENTON — Goodwill Manasota President and CEO Bob Rosinsky has been named president of the Florida Goodwill Association.

The association, according to a release, consists of nine territories of Goodwill stores in Florida and Alabama. It was formed five years ago to help Goodwill executives talk about common issues, day-to-day operational challenges and big-picture topics and ideas.

Rosinsky, who has been with Goodwill for more than four decades, has been president and CEO of Goodwill Manasota since 2012. The nonprofit served more than 16,000 people, placed 680 people in jobs and assisted 520 veterans moving back into the civilian workforce in 2014. Rosinsky will continue in his role with Goodwill Manasota while serving with the Florida Goodwill Association.

“I am honored to begin this new role as president of the Florida Goodwill Association,” Rosinsky says in the statement, “because I am excited to see the new advances we can make that will help us to have an even larger impact on our state. We succeed because we are all working toward the same goals: stronger local economies, a stronger and more empowered workforce and stronger communities.”
