CLEARWATER — Zynstra, a software company with offices in both Bath, U.K., and Clearwater, is bringing its hybrid cloud/local server offering to businesses in North America.
The firm offers a cloud-managed server system for small- and medium-sized business that combines remote server (cloud) features with on-site HP ProLiant servers. Both the on-site and cloud services are billed on a monthly fee.
The service is sold indirectly through distributors. Zynstra's first distribution partner in North America is CloudMSP.
Zynstra is pitching the services particularly to businesses with Windows Server 2003 servers. Microsoft will be ending support for that version of its server software on July 14.
Zynstra is backed by United Kingdom-based investor and management company Octopus Investments.
