CLEARWATER — Silver Airways has announced it is adding service from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). The airline will offer nonstop service from St. Pete-Clearwater to both Fort Lauderdale and Key West on March 12.

The two new routes are not currently being served from St. Pete-Clearwater.

Silver Airways will offer twice daily flights between St. Pete-Clearwater and Fort Lauderdale and a single flight to and from Key West.

In addition to the new nonstop flights, the new service provides connections to Jacksonville and the seven destinations that Silver serves in the Bahamas, including Freeport and North Eleuthera.

“Introducing service from St. Pete-Clearwater is all about offering business and leisure travelers from throughout the Tampa Bay area more options for convenient flights to South Florida and the Bahamas, while giving our other Florida customers even more opportunities to access all that the Tampa Bay area has to offer,” Silver Airways CEO Sami Teittinen says in a press release.

To celebrate the new service, Silver is offering introductory fares from $69 (one way, including taxes and fees) booked through January 15 for travel between March 12 and May 22.
