It can get pretty lonely at the top.

Just ask Theo Etzel, the CEO of Conditioned Air, Garrett Richter, the president of First Florida Integrity Bank and a state senator, or Adria Starkey, executive vice president of FineMark National Bank & Trust.

They were among a group of top executives who recently raised money for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida by rappelling over the edge of the 18-story Naples Grande hotel.

The nonprofit organization teaches entrepreneurship and financial literacy to children in Charlotte, Collier and Lee county schools. The organization partnered with Over the Edge USA, which arranged for the daring adventure.

Each participant pledged to raise at least $1,000. Although pledges are still coming in, the organization hopes the event will raise $40,000.
