TAMPA — At its company Christmas party, synthetic human manufacturer SynDaver Labs gave its employees a combined $1.5 million in company stock.

The stock giveaway comes just a month after a company-wide 20% salary increase, according to a statement. The Tampa-based company has nearly 100 employees.

The private stock was distributed to all employees in non-managerial positions, the statement adds. SynDaver is on track to go public in 2018, the firm has previously stated.

SynDaver, founded in 2004, appeared on ABC's 'Shark Tank' earlier this year and has had its products featured on Mythbusters and Grey's Anatomy. The company hopes to double its employee total by the end of 2016, the statement says.
